KENFAP Services Limited (KSL) was established by the national Executive Council (NEC)  of the Kenya National Federation of Agricultural Producers (KENFAP)in 2004. It was established so that it can promote and develop the commercial activities of the Federation for sustainability purposes.

KSL is a Limited Company registered by shares sinces April 2005 under the companies Act Chapter 486, law of Kenya.

The Mandate of KSL are to offer services to KENFAP members at subsidized yet reasonable rates in order to encourage more farmers to benefit from KENFAP and also to register as members, promote partnership and collaboration while networking widely with organizations that engage in similar or related ares of operation such as the Government (Ministries of agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Cooperatives and Special Programmes), International and local NGOs, Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), Research Organizations, Consultancy firms, commodity organizations amongest others. KSL is also mandated to offer quality productsand services in order to build confidenc, trust and opartnerships with all its clients and customers. As KSL carries out its mandate, it operate independently and/or jointly with KENFAP and other partners.

KSL continues to seek and enhance partnership with agencies that want to identify and work with the farmer's organisation that is professionally managed. It strives to provide a benefit to those development initiatives that ensure effective cost savings, efficient and effective project implementation so that farmers and institutions can direct their resources to the core function of their development intervention   

Farmers and institutions have found in KSL and KENFAP, organizations that have in-depth knowledge of agriculture and rural development that is unequaled in services, more specifically in development consultancy.

KSL and KENFAP have successfully enlisted the support and collaboration of various organizations that share the focus and mandate of farmers, both locally, regionally and at international level.
